NC IDEA Sends $156K to Four Start Ups

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC -- NC IDEA, a state-supported non-profit venture funding source, announced the grant of $156 thousand dollars to four early stage start ups for proof-of-concept development.

The four start ups were:

  • Protochips - nanoscale monitoring process platform
  • Microelectronics Assembly Technologies - semiconductor heat generation research
  • DPoly Systems - plastics recycling efficiency improvement
  • Oncogenomics - cancer recurrence prediction and response to therapy

More than 50 companies across the state applied for the grants.
